“New” Hacklab

This might not look like a hacklab but it is a view of perhaps the new hacklab. There is still some planning that needs to be done and also some construction. This Wednesday was the official meeting upon the decision of where hacklab should reside and how much we are willing to pay and of what. The resolution is then we are willing to pay for the wood workshop. Not that much but enough so that the location of Palosaari was appreciated over the Vaskiluoto location. The universities in the area and the woodworkers were enough to keep the hacklab at the same location.

Now we need to plan on how we are going to organize and divide the space. We will need space for woodwork and also some dust free space for other hacking. There is lots of things to do and we will need some basic wood when we are building some walls and other structures. Perhaps doors and some plywood or chipboard. We will see.
