A robot built in one day
My first robot took me more than a year to finish. Yesterday I challenged myself to build a new robot from scratch in just one day. After almost exactly 12 hours of planning and building, I had made a pretty decent obstacle-avoiding bot. Success!
The robot features an Arduino Uno and two HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance sensors for obstacle detection. The motors and wheels are some cheap ones I had laying around. As a power source I used a 10000 mAh power bank. The base is laser-cut acrylic with 3D printed brackets to hold each part in its place.
