New Softlab

Vaasa Hacklab is not only about woodworks and electronics – there is also a soft side. At the Vaasa Hacklab Softlab you can cut your own stickers and heat transfer foils, as well as use a sewing machine.

From materials there’s white and black vinyl sticker, and white, black and reflector heat transfer foil available at Hacklab to be purchased. Vaasa Hacklab has also a set of fabrics, leathers and cardboard available for member projects.

Before you can use vinyl cutter, you need introduction to the machine. At the softlab we’ve also organised candle, soap, jewellery and sewing workshops. Courses are held regularly, and you can ask for a short intro also during wednesday open house events.
